Open Life Drawing Studio(F05)

Open Session is a friendly, creative oppor- tunity to practice figure drawing with a live model in an informal setting. Take your art to the next level. Join this diversified group of artists for fun, imaginative sessions and camaraderie. Short & long poses. Work independently and bring desired materials. A wonderful way to nurture your soul!

Interpreting the Landscape
Oil Painting Workshop

This is a studio class where students will paint landscapes in oil, using photographic reference to free their approach to both style and subject matter. The emphasis will be on creating a highly personal interpretation of the landscape in an atmosphere that is open and dynamic.

Staats Fasoldt (F07)
Watercolor Painting

For students of all levels, this class introduces Staats' ideas on spontaneous watercolor painting. Stressing a fluid approach with a limited pallet, Staats will present a gentle coherent method of gaining confidence with the watercolor medium.

Jewelry Workshop
Wire Wrapping Gemstones

Learn how to create beautiful pendants using 20-22 gauge square gold filled 14K half-hard wire and (approx. 30x40mm) gemstones. Basic construction techniques including; flat spirals, links, eye loops and prongs will be covered as well as in depth discussions on wire wrapping and gemstones. No previous experience required and no soldering necessary. You will have a wearable original piece of jewelry at the end of the workshop.
