Explore handbuilding with clay. An introduction to a variety of forming processes including pinching, coiling, and slap-building. Explore various surface textures and glazing. Projects will be developed based on your skill level.

Sculptural Handbuilding
Learn a variety of handbuilding techniques available for making sculptural ceramics. Explore coils, cut wheel thrown sections, slab work, simple shape forming and easy armature building. Address a variety of surface textures and finishes.
