Kathleen is a local pastel artist who strives to impart a sense of place, action and the movement of light in her work. She uses a bright, vibrant palette to paint picturesque Hudson Valley landscapes plein-air and from images taken primarily from her extensive travels.

Nature has always been my inspiration. Growing up in rural Northwestern Connecticut allowed me the freedom to explore the woods, fields, and streams to gain an understanding and love of plant and animal life. The design and structure of the natural world is the driving force behind my work.
Steven James Petruccio
Steven James Petruccio is the illustrator of more than seventy children’s books. His awards include Parent’s Choice awards, The Ben Franklin Award and The Rip VanWinkle Award for his contribution to children’s literature. His work was included in the exhibit, “ American Nostalgia”: A tribute to Norman Rockwell. He is an Art In Education program presenter and an Adjunct Lecturer in the Studio Art Department of Marist College.
