Anna Adler, Outreach and Operations Coordinator

Anna Adler is an arts and culture worker with a passion for cultural advocacy and community engagement through the arts. She holds a BS from New York University (2006) and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art (2011), outside of Detroit, Michigan. Her past experience includes a Fulbright fellowship in Prague, Czech Republic, artist residencies with Artist Volunteer Center and LMCC's SPARC (Seniors Partnering with Artists Citywide), as well as exhibitions and collaborations in New York, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, and Michigan. Her curatorial experience includes Peekskill Project 2012 (Peekskill, NY), Take Care of Your Square Festival 2013 (Prague, CZ), 2017 Annual Open Show: Something to hold on to… at the Community School of Music & Arts (Ithaca, NY) and most recently (Not) Staying Still at Bethany Arts Community (Ossining, NY). She has served on grants panels at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Brooklyn Arts Council, and Community Arts Partnership (Ithaca) and supported fellow artists through grant writing efforts and exhibition opportunities. Anna grew up in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, has recently returned to the Hudson Valley, and is very excited to join Barrett Art Center/DCAA.
